Fort Worth Opera, the oldest opera company in Texas, stages three high-quality productions each season at the Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Performance Hall, recently named as one of the top 10 opera houses in the world. Since its beginning in 1946, Fort Worth Opera has helped to launch the careers of great performers such as John Alexander, Luigi Alva, Martina Arroyo, Enrico de Guiseppe, Placido Domingo, Giorgio Tozzi, and Beverly Sills.
