Near Southside

Ellerbe

Located just south of downtown, the Near Southside of Fort Worth, commonly referred to as Magnolia, offers a rich variety of eclectic establishments including restaurants, cafes, pubs, shopping, arts and community events.

The Near Southside offers a strong art presence with many art and music venues to enjoy. Take a stroll along Magnolia Avenue for some of the most enchanting and unique dining experiences in Fort Worth, where you'll find everything from Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Egyptian and vegetarian. If you're looking for something less conventional than a sit-down restaurant, try one of the many gourmet/artisan food trucks that have set up shop in the area.

Thistle Hill

This area is surrounded by some of Fort Worth's oldest and most historic neighborhoods including the Fairmont District. While visiting the district, be sure to see how the cattle barons lived at the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House and Thistle Hill.
