TCU

You will find that purple is one of Fort Worth's favorite colors. Texas Christian University and Fort Worth complement each other very well and have done so for over one hundred years. TCU established its Fort Worth roots in 1910 with four original buildings.

Today, the campus has evolved into one of the most beautiful universities in the nation. With the addition of the Campus Commons in 2008 and the renovations to Amon G. Carter Stadium, TCU is quickly becoming one of the most prestigious colleges in the nation. With its successful football program, picturesque landscape, award-winning educational programs all housed within the quintessential college neighborhood, who wouldn't want to attend TCU?

Along Berry Street and University Drive, you'll see TCU hot spots such as Fuzzy's Taco Shop, Buffalo Bros. and Dutch's Hamburgers. Where there's a university, you can expect to find a thriving nightlife and along Berry Street and University, you'll find just that. The Pub, The Aardvark and The Cellar to name a few, are popular hang outs around the area, many of which offer live music Thursday through Saturday. TCU is located just a half mile from the Fort Worth Zoo and less than five miles from downtown/Sundance Square.
