Brunch is such a luxury, and such a joy. What other meal allows you to combine the best of breakfast foods and the regular menu?  Here are 10 delicious brunch options in town.

B&B Butchers

B&B Butchers probably gets the prize for decadent, special-occasion, white-tablecloth weekend brunch. All the best of the lunch and dinner menus are featured, along with sweet favorites like monkey bread, bagels with lox, egg dishes, oysters, and a brisket hash that’s big enough to serve two people comfortably.

Blue Mesa

Blue Mesa’s legendary brunch is a study in everything good about the meal. In addition to the build-your-own street tacos, the proprietary and oh-so-delish corn cake, and fresh-made guacamole, you’ll find Belgian waffles (with chicken if you want to get your sweet and salty together), fruit, desserts and more. Sunday brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Brewed

Brewed is open at the crack of 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday, and their all-day breakfast menu is in full effect. Build your own biscuit, grab some chilaquiles or a healthy veggie skillet, or dive into lunch-y hot plates like shrimp and grits.

Cane Rosso

Cane Rosso’s weekend brunch is a spectacular addition to your dining options. Of course you can get your favorite pies and lunch menu items, along with chicken and waffles and fully loaded breakfast tots. The Breakfast Taco pizza  is topped with smoked brisket, tater tots, onions, candied jalapeños, housemade mozzarella, lightly scrambled egg and yellowbird serrano sauce. What more do you need?

Cat City Grill

Cat City Grill offers one of the best year-round brunch menus ever. Eggs Benedict, omelettes and sausage and biscuits top menu. One of the best things about this brunch menu: mimosas, screwdrivers, Bellinis, and the traditional bloody Mary are all a mere $3 each!

Esperanza's

Esperanza’s has possibly the best traditional Mexican breakfast around. The Main Street location’s open daily at 6:30 a.m., while the Park Place site opens at 6 a.m. Although you won’t find alcohol, you’ll get the best and most beautiful pan dulce, arroz con leche, and breakfast tacos with every conceivable combination. The lunch tacos, tortas and combos will keep you full and happy. If you’d rather sip a margarita, big brother restaurant Joe T. Garcia’s offers brunch both Saturday and Sunday. You’ll get a choice of six brunch items, including menudo, and the lunch version of their legendary menu. Remember to bring cash for this brunch!

Little Red Wasp

Little Red Wasp offers the best in casual, laid-back brunch. Chef Blaine Staniford isn’t afraid to mix things up - his brunch menu includes the traditional (French toast, corned beef hash and pork shank carnitas), the extravagant (chicken fried beef tenderloin and eggs), and food that isn’t generally on brunch menus (Pederson’s hot ham and cheese sandwich and brisket potstickers).

Lucille's Stateside Bistro

Lucille’s Stateside Bistro is the grande dame of Fort Worth restaurants. Sure, they call their brunch “breakfast,” perhaps because the weekend service starts at 10 a.m. Eggs Benedict, a breakfast frittata from their wood oven, and a buttery, lemony Dutch Baby pancake highlight the menu.

Press Cafe

Press Café’s extensive breakfast/brunch menu starts at 7 a.m. with a huge offering of almost everything under the sun. From avocado toast to a breakfast burrito to quiche, omelets, French toast and waffles, there’s literally something for everyone.

Reata Restaurant

Reata Restaurant’s weekend brunch menu is packed with traditional favorites spiced with a definitive southwestern twist. Take the biscuits and gravy, topped with diced elk sausage. There’s a version of chicken and waffles that includes fried quail atop a sweet, crispy cake batter waffle. And the shrimp and grits are served with spicy chorizo sausage. Of course, if you want items from the lunch menu, including the locally legendary chicken fried steak with cracked pepper cream gravy or the carne asada with cheese enchiladas, they won’t say no.
