Hometown Heroes, presented by Chesapeake Energy, is a community program designed to enhance meetings and convention bookings for the City of Fort Worth with the help of local residents. This initiative benefits Fort Worth by: creating a deeper sense of community; developing awareness of the overall significance of the meetings and convention industry to Fort Worth; generating more awareness to the benefits of meeting in Fort Worth; enhancing on-going meetings and convention development efforts; and involving the community and hospitality industry collectively in generating new business for Fort Worth.
