The Firehouse Pottery is located in an old historically recognized, former Fire house, ca 1927. Established in 2003 as a general art gallery, supporting local artists it switched focus in 2010 to become a pottery studio and gallery, still supporting local artists but with a concentration in pottery. The studio produces a wide range of functional stone ware pottery. You can come in, watch the potter at work and be hypnotized by the clay growing out of the potters wheel. When your ready to try the potters wheel yourself, The Firehouse specializes in private and small group lessons.The small and intimate studio is the ideal place to ignite your creative spirit with expertise instruction.
