Drive or fly to this museum—the hangars are on the east side of Meacham International Airport—to tour 30 rare and historic war bird and civilian aircraft ranging from the 1930's to the 1960's, many in flying condition. Displays include an extensive collection of reciprocating and jet engines, WWII memorabilia and artifacts and a unique aircraft model exhibit. Be sure to visit the Rosie the Riveter Memorial Rose Garden before you leave. The museum gift shop includes aviation toys, books and more.
