Fort Worth Zoo

Don't let the fact that this zoo is the oldest in Texas fool you into thinking it is anything less than impressive. From a notable primate collection to an entire section dedicated to animals native to the Lone Start State, this place is best described as a gem.

The Zoo is also home to the Museum of Living Art (MOLA), the world's most elite herpetarium. This means you'll see a dizzying array of snakes, frogs, and lizards - all inside a delightful indoor space, which makes for a nice break from the outdoors.
