One of the oldest companies in the nation, the Opera has played host to numerous big names, including Placido Domingo and Lily Pons. A friendly and encouraging atmosphere makes a trip to the opera in Fort Worth enjoyable, not only for true connoisseurs of the art, but for beginners as well.
In 2007, Fort Worth Opera condensed its entire schedule to an annual spring Fort Worth Opera Festival - with all of its performances presented over a four-week period and multiple operas performed each weekend.
