FORT WORTH SPORTS COMMISSION TO LAUNCH “WOMEN WORTH MEETING” SPORTS PROGRAM IN HONOR OF ANNIVERSARY OF GROUNDBREAKING LEGISLATION
As the anniversary of Title IX approaches, the Fort Worth Sports Commission is proud to celebrate the momentous change to American sports by highlighting local women who have made significant contributions to our local sporting communities. The Fort Worth Sports Commission selection process focused on three qualifications: the individuals who participated in college athletics; they currently work in athletics or they work in sporting events or community sports initiatives. The Fort Worth Sports Commission will highlight local Women Worth Meeting through a series of blog posts and communication highlighting each individual and the positive impact they have made in our community through sports.
