  • Brew buzz: This small brewpub serving beers made in-house in the historic Fairmount district is the corner spot called home by people from all walks of life. The motto is "Up the Chels!", as Chimera is the official meeting site for the Fort Worth Blues, a Chelsea in America supporters group.

  • Brewmaster: Co-owners Carlo Galotto, a native of Turin, Italy, who loves bulls and beer, teams up with Fort Worth native Adam Gonzales, a fan of unicorns and beer, to make English- and Belgian-style brews. Watch out, though - these two like to shake it up and experiment with all kinds of styles and recipes.

  • Beer sipping: Among several choices, the favorite is typically the 1011, the house amber that's a hybrid of American amber ale and German altbier,  balanced and approachable, pairing well with all foods. Be sure and ask about the Extra Special Bitter, Brown Ale, Saison and Wit beers, too.

  • Brewery visits: You can visit and tour - and make serious meals of the fantastic handmade pizzas, sandwiches and daily specials - from 11:30 a.m.-midnight, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-1a.m. Saturday, and 10 am.-midnight Sunday.
