Whether you are out and about and need to grab a quick bite or just need a night off from preparing a meal, you’ll find plenty of kid-friendly restaurants in Fort Worth. I look for a diverse menu with lots of options for kids and parents when choosing a restaurant, and a great patio is always a plus.

Pizza Snob
You build your own personal size pizza (up to 4 ingredients) at Pizza Snob, so even the pickiest eaters will get just what they want. The pizza comes out quick and the reasonable prices should keep parents happy.

Palio’s Pizza Cafe
Palio’s draws plenty of families with it’s varied menu and casual setting. In addition to their pizza specialties they have a special kids menu and also serve salads, calzones, pasta and sandwiches. Look for a few gluten-free options as well.

Pegaso Mexican Diner
Pegaso’s dining concept (similar to Chipotle) makes it easy to get a quick meal made with fresh ingredients. You basically build your own burritos, enchiladas, salads or tacos. They also have a reasonably priced kids menu and a nice side patio.

Joe T. Garcia’s
The gorgeously landscaped grounds at Joe T. Garcia’s make it a great spot to enjoy their traditional Mexican food. All the food is served family style and the atmosphere is festive and fun.

Fast Casual
Zoe’s Kitchen
Zoe’s Kitchen focuses on fresh and healthy cuisine with a kid’s menu that includes items like grilled (not fried) chicken fingers. Parents will love the diverse menu with Mediterranean influences and the nice patio. If you can’t eat at the restaurant they have Family Meals available for carry out that serve 3-6 people. A wonderful meal option for harried new parents.

The Great Outdoors
If you’re planning a park playdate pick up a quick picnic lunch at The Great Outdoors. They specialize in deli-style sub sandwiches and offer many varieties including a peanut butter, banana and honey one just for kids.

Vickery Boulevard Cafe
Kids will adore the huge waffles in the shape of Texas served at the Vickery Boulevard Cafe. Parents will have a hard time choosing between all the other breakfast items including some creative omelet options. They serve breakfast all day long with other diner specialties for lunch.

Paris Coffee Shop
This classic Fort Worth diner serves up breakfast favorites along with some scrumptious pie offerings. Weekends can get crowded so get there early.

The nostalgic atmosphere at Dutch’s makes for a casual spot to enjoy some of their amazing burgers. Save room for some of their delicious shake or malts. Kid’s meals are $2.00 on Mondays.

Love Shack
If you are enjoying some family time in the Fort Worth Stockyards you can grab a burger at the Love Shack. You’ll find kid friendly items on the menu like burgers, organic chicken tenders, hot dogs and shakes.
