Next Saturday, August 13, The Kimbell Art Museum in the Fort Worth Cultural District presents, “After Hours at the Kimbell" featuring Johnny Guadarrama. From 5:30-7:30 p.m., enjoy live entertainment, amazing artwork and specialty cocktail: Summer Peach, during an eventful evening at the Kimbell. Soul and jazz band, Johnny Guadarrama will entertain while his music echos throughout the galleries in the museum.
There will be docent-guided tours, gift giveaways, light hors d’oeuvres as well as a cash bar which includes the signature cocktail, wine and beer. Admission to "After Hours at the Kimbell" is free for Museum members; however, the cost is $20 for nonmembers at the door. No reservations needed.
If you are not a Museum member and are looking for a free in Fort Worth event, note that the final film of the Kimbell Art Museum's FREE Film Series, "Picasso and Braque's Paris" will be this Sunday at 2 p.m. The film features interview footage with Picasso's art dealer, Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler.
