Through November 27th, The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History (Located in the Fort Worth Cultural District) is hosting the retrospective of the art of Alexandre Hogue (1898-1994). Hogue’s 157 oil paintings, drawings and field sketches reflect mostly Southwest landscapes. The exhibit, the most complete gathering of Hogue’s works ever assembled, presents artworks that signify the history of Texas.

About the Artist: Alexandre Hogue’s career climaxed during the 1930s and 40s. The artist was often acclaimed for capturing the look and feel of the land including the psychological character.

Admission is included with regular Museum exhibit admission:
$14 adults; $10 children (2-12) and seniors (60+).
