Are you looking for unique places for Fort Worth Shopping?  Billy Bob’s Texas, in the Stockyards National Historic District, has a full calendar in December, including more red dirt country than ever!  Kicking off the month on December 4, Billy Bob’s will provide much more than a Honky Tonk Good Time.

Fort Worth's landmark honky tonk, Billy Bob’s Texas, will host a book signing on December 4 that will include four authors, National Insider Vernell Hackett who wrote Carrie Underwood: A Biography; Local Journalist Shirley Jinkins, author of Texas Landmark Saloons, Honky Tonks & Dance Halls; Deborah Evans Price, who penned CMA Awards Vault, which chronicles the rise and success of the annual CMA Award show; and Mike Brown, an award winning children's book author and artist of So Much to be Seen!.

There will be two book signing sessions, 1 pm - 6 pm, with no cover charge - and from 8 pm - 10 pm, during which the $12 GA night-time admission will be in effect.  The signing will take place at the Billy Bob’s Texas Gift Shop during these specified times.  The authors will be selling their books at this time…making Christmas Shopping easy!

Check out the Fort Worth Cattle Drive down Exchange Avenue at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily!

Also on Saturday, December 4, Billy Bob’s will also host a singing competition for the new movie “Country Strong”, registration beginning at 1pm.  Come out and compete in the “Country Strong Singing Challenge” for your chance to win a trip to Nashville and an appearance on CMT!  Go to or for complete list of rules and details.
