We tried out their fall menu last week and needless to say, we were more than impressed. With sustainable, fresh ingredients mixed with unique flavors, you're mouth will be watering just at the sight of the menu alone, which you can download from Cafe Modern's website.
Some of our favorites included the Pastrami Dip: Shaved Pastrami on Marble Rye with Roasted Apples, Caramelized Onions, White Cheddar and Rahr Blonde-Rosemary Jus for Dipping, the Balsamic Glazed Steak Salad: Mixed Greens Dressed with Lemon, Olive Oil, Roasted Shallots, Brazos Valley Blue Cheese and House-made Melba Toast and for dessert, the wonderfully delicious Champagne and Beet-Poached Pear with Rosemary and Mascarpone. The pear is so gorgeous that you hardly want to eat it, but it is just light enough to serve as a cure for your sweet tooth.
