Southwest Christian School is hosting a delegation of Chinese students as part of the ongoing cultural exchange with Guilin Dezhi Foreign Language School in Guilin, China. The mission of Southwest Christian School includes developing globally minded students.

Southwest Christian School has special permission from the Chinese government to host the cultural exchange.  This week, four Chinese students, their English teacher and the school’s headmaster will Visit Fort Worth as guests of Southwest Christian School.  

In addition to attending classes with Southwest Christian School students, the Chinese students will be experiencing Texas Culture including: The Fort Worth Zoo, a Dallas Mavericks game, a Fort Worth Stockyards Rodeo, Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas, and a tour of Texas Christian University.   
The ongoing cultural exchange will be continued this March when six Southwest Christian School students, along with administrators and parents, visit the Guilin Dezhi Foreign Language School in Guilin, China.  All students at Southwest Christian School have courses in foreign languages and culture, including Chinese.
