Singing at the World’s Largest Honky Tonk in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards District is a great thing for any singer/songwriter to aspire to, and “Cowboy Idol” gives these hopefuls the opportunity to make this dream a reality.
On July 20, there will be a preliminary competition at Billy Bob’s Texas in the Fort Worth Stockyards, where the applicants will have the opportunity to sing their hearts out in front of a panel of judges for the chance to compete and WIN at the Finals on July 24, National Day of the American Cowboy. The panel of judges will include professional songwriters and a surprise celebrity guest.
Come celebrate the Western Heritage in Fort Worth. Prizes include a cash jackpot, a pair of Justin Boots, a One Year Membership to the Fort Worth Songwriters Association, and the opportunity to perform on stage at The World’s Largest Honky Tonk – Billy Bob’s Texas!

Registration Entries and fees must be hand delivered to the Stockyards Visitors Center BY July 19 (no day-of registration)
July 20 Preliminary Competition at Billy Bob’s Texas at 7:30pm
July 24 Finals held on the lawn of the Livestock Exchange Building at 11:00am during the National Day of the American Cowboy Celebration in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards
