Celebrate Texas Culture with Theatre Wesleyan as they present: Dr. Chekhov's Vaudevilles by Anton Chekhov Better known for “serious” full-length plays and stories, in his short comic plays Anton Chekhov offers the glorious silliness of egotistical bankers, greedy land-grabbers, and various quarrelsome souls.

As produced by a down-at-the-heel provincial music hall in the 1860s, the playbill includes The Proposal, The Anniversary, The Bear, and An Unwilling Martyr. Dr. Chekhov's Vaudevilles runs September 30 to October 2 and October 7-9 at 7:30p.m. and Sunday, October 10 at 2:00p.m.

Tickets are $8.00 general admission, $6.00 for Wesleyan faculty and staff, and $4.00 for all students with ID. The box office will open on Tuesday, September 28. Box office hours are Tuesday-Friday 1:30p.m. to 4:30p.m. and one hour before curtain on performance days.
