Its the most wonderful time of the year in Fort Worth and there’s plenty of events to get you and your kids in the holiday spirit. Join in the free festivities at the Sundance Square Tree Lighting on Saturday November 22 to celebrate the lighting of the 58-foot tall Christmas Tree. Be a part of this special tradition and enjoy an evening full of fun activities. There will plenty of strolling entertainment including stilt walkers, jugglers, balloon artists and holiday face painters.

Sundance Square Christmas Tree

Continue the holiday fun at Christmas in the Stockyards on Saturday December 6 from 12-5 PM.  Stockyards Station will host a variety of free activities with a Western flair that are sure to please the family. Activities include the Lighting of the Christmas Tree, Cowboy Santa, a Holiday Parade, Pony rides, Caroling, a Petting Zoo and Fort Worth Herd Cow Camp. Christmas in the Stockyards

Complete your Christmas festivities by having your photo taken with Santa in the beautifully decorated Sundance Square Plaza. Guests can have their photo taken with Santa for $10 (cash only) which goes to benefit youth programs at Fort Worth Sister Cities International. Visits with Santa in Sundance Square begin November 22 and continue through December 23, check the Sundance Square website for specific dates and times.
