This Saturday, October 5, 2013, provides two opportunities to celebrate the German tradition, Oktoberfest.
Fort Worth Oktoberfest at T&P Tavern
Downtown Fort Worth hotspot, T&P Tavern plays host to the third annual Oktoberfest. Doors open at noon and patrons can enjoy festivities continue throughout the day. Dressing in your finest German attire is included. Enjoy traditional German food plus nine different German beers on tap. Family and friends are invited to partake in Oktoberfest contests: barrel rolling, best beer belly, best mustache, stein holding and of course, best dressed. Click here to view the Facebook event.
Fort Worth Oktoberfest at West 7th: Crockett + Norwood
This outdoor street festival along Crockett Street in West 7th offers free admission, and will be an Oktoberfest celebration for the whole family. The Fort Worth Weekly never disappoints with live music including all-day entertainment from Telegraph Canyon, Foxtrot Uniform, Invincible Czars, Home by Hovercraft and The Engravers.
