Melted Beer Launch

Your favorite ice cream shop, Melt Ice Creams in the Near Southside, has partnered with Martin House Brewing to launch a Strawberry & Waffle Cone Ice Cream Ale. The launch is Friday, August 2, at Martin House from 4-10 p.m. The taproom is always kid-friendly. Bonus: Melt's ice cream cart will be on-site for the event.


Kayak Tour 

Take a kayak tour of the 3,000-acre Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge, recently earning the Trip Advisor Hall of Fame Certificate of Excellence. The tour starts at 9 a.m. and includes all equipment. Be sure to register ahead of time. Get the details.

Riding Academy 

Benbrook Stables is hosting a three-day Riding Academy August 9-11 for kids ages 9-15. In addition to learning the fundamentals of horsemanship, teens will learn to feed and groom their very own horse as well as learn how to tack for a ride on the trails.


Back-to-School Bash  

Get ready for back-to-school at the Homes for Children Corporation’s 3rd Annual Back-to-School Bash on August 17. American Miniature Horse Association (AMHA) World Championship Show

ESPN College GameDay

ESPN will set up shop in Sundance Square Plaza on August 31 for the first week of the 2019 regular season. College GameDay will air locally from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. CST on ESPN live in advance of the Oregon vs. Auburn game at AT&T Stadium. The general public is welcome to attend the live broadcast!
