Work and life’s commitments can leave scarce time for exploring all that Fort Worth has to offer. If you’re looking to get the most out of your Sunday Funday outings, these four local tastemakers can point you in the right direction.

Whitney Howell is the talent behind Shop Small Fort Worth. The mother, cancer survivor and small business owner started the concept as an online forum for local artisans and small business owners to connect. She recently opened a store (3608 Pershing Ave) that features locally made products. Through her Instagram and Facebook accounts, you’ll find tips on where to shop, dine, eat and network with other small business owners.

@fwlocals

Javier Rodriguez founded Fort Worth Locals as a blog to highlight local businesses and small business owners. The brand has grown with the opening of a boutique shop (1208 W Magnolia Ave) and podcast series. FWLocal’s Instagram and Facebook pages are a great way to keep up with what’s new and fun in Funkytown.

RECIPE IN BIO 😃👆🏾😃👆🏾😃👆🏾Barbecue Shrimp and Crab. No grill required for this barbecue dish cause well, it’s New Orleans style. This fantastic little classic basically boils down to two ingredients, Worchesheshsstterererrire sauce and a big, southern, decadent, butload of butter. 🤤 #butterEmoji #buttload #cookdrankeat • • • • • • • •of course see how it all went down in the IG story #betofortexas • • • • • • _______________________________ #foodandwine @food @foodandwine #eeeeeats #feedfeed #thekitchn #onmytable #eattheworld #fortworth #foodporn #tthealthy #seafood #surfnoturf #buzzfeedtasty #fwtxmag #naturallight #shotoniphone #fwtxbloggers #topchef #neworleans #deliciousness #igfood #instatyum #IGstory #foodvideos #cookipage #trillmealz
