Did you know that Fort Worth's tourism industry generates 1.6 billion economic impact to the city? Or that, 6.5 million people visit Fort Worth annually?
We're celebrating this year's National Travel and Tourism Week in a big way and want to invite the entire community to come out for a FREE Fort Worth Block Party in the Sundance Square Plaza, Thursday, May 8, 2014, from 11am-1pm. Enjoy lunch on the beautiful new Sundance Square Plaza and choose from the many downtown dining options. Kick back and listen to live music from local favorites, Los Noviembres and Whiskey Folk Ramblers, capture memories in the social photo booth and enter for a chance to win a pair of VIP tickets to the 2014 Fort Worth Music Festival! Mayor Betsy Price will even be there to partake in the fun! Complimentary parking is available in Sundance Square parking garages and valet stations with validation from Sundance Square restaurants and shops.
The Fort Worth Block Party on May 8 celebrates the part we all play in welcoming the world to our city. Thank you for being ambassadors for Fort Worth!
