I'm not sure how June already came and went, but it's that time of the year again to celebrate our nation's independence and Fort Worth is a wonderful place to do so with many family-friendly, fireworks-filled events taking place!

A Fort Worth family tradition, Concerts in the Garden is hosting a spectacular Old-Fashioned Family Fireworks Picnic. Taking place Saturday, July 2-Monday, July 4, you will find patriotic songs, heart-pounding marches and the best fireworks display in the area! This is one of the Fort Worth Symphony's most popular concerts, so order your reserved table or general admission lawn tickets today!

This party never gets old! Returning to Fort Worth, this Monday, July 4th, the long-standing Texas tradition of Willie Nelson's Fourth of July Picnic  will break new ground as it will be held outside & inside of the famed Billy Bob's Texas! This year's event will feature headliner performers such as David Allan Coe, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Asleep at the Wheel and of course, Willie Nelson (and his family!) Tickets are available through www.ticketmaster.com as well as Billy Bob's box office.

Turn back time this Monday, July 4th  to an evening of good old-fashioned fun at the annual Fort Worth's Fourth. Live music, water activities, jet ski shows, pony rides, levee hill slides, water wars and splash pad and MORE will casually sprawl along the Trinity River behind LaGrave Field at Trinity Uptown. The evening will end with what promises to be one of the best fireworks display in Fort Worth. Parking is available at LaGrave Field for $5 or FREE along the side streets of North Main.

Celebrate our nation's independence Stockyards Style! Monday, July 4th, the Stockyards National Historic District will host a petting zoo, face painting, Fort Worth Herd CowCamp and gunfight shows! Lots of great food, shopping, museums and entertainment will also be available.
