Heralded by The New York Post as "amazing," the Golden Dragon Acrobats are considered to be the premiere Chinese acrobatic touring company of today. World-renowned impresario Danny Chang and choreographer Angela Chang have created a spectacle in which acrobatics, dance, spectacular costumes and ancient and contemporary music are effortlessly combined - with breathtaking and spellbinding results.
For their work with the Golden Dragon Acrobats, the Changs have been nominated for a pair of prestigious New York Drama Desk awards - for Most Unique Theatrical Experience and Best Choreography.
Now past its 30th year of continuous touring, the troupe has traveled around the world, performing in more than 65 countries on five continents, along the way garnering rave reviews.  "A good deal of imagination has gone into devising colorful ways to use their skills and take advantage of their apparent total lack of fear," boasted The New York Times.
Comprised of jugglers, award-winning acrobats and contortionists from Hebei, China, the Golden Dragon Acrobats carry on the don't-try-this-at-home theatrics dreamed up by their ancestors more than 25 centuries ago. The troupe's history stretches back to the Warring States period (475 BC-221 BC), when Chinese workers entertained themselves by juggling various instruments of labor, such as wicker rings, tables, chairs, plates and jars. Many years later, these rudimentary acts evolved into an art form popular with Chinese emperors.

All Family Series at the Bass performances begin at 6:30 p.m. and are approximately 60 minutes in length.
