It's not your typical recipe book, but Grace & Gumption: The Cookbook details stories of Fort Worth women who challenged the roles of women in society in order to make significant contributions to the history and culture of Fort Worth. Grace & Gumption: The Cookbook shares tales of life on the frontier and providing for your family as the woman of the house in the early days of Fort Worth.
Much like the original 14 authors gathered to share stories with wine and food recipes, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame invite you to a tasty evening: Signs of Good Taste: Stories and Samples from Grace & Gumption: The Cookbook. Mix and mingle with the these influential Fort Worth authors and enjoy sample recipes from the cookbook with a book Signing to follow.
