Fort Worth as well as football fans are gearing up for this year’s Super Bowl which will be held for the first time ever in North Texas.  As the AFC Championship City, Fort Worth, the City of Cowboys and Culture will be hosting the AFC Champions at the Omni Hotel, a Downtown Fort Worth Hotel.

The team will be practicing in Fort Worth’s Purple Pride, Texas Christian University’s Football Stadium. Fort Worth is busying making all preparations to ensure that the NFL, the AFC Championship Team and all fans enjoy Fort Worth's five-star experience for Super Bowl XLV in 2011.  Of the events taking place, Fort Worth will be hosting Taste of the NFL, a charity event held at the Fort Worth Convention Center featuring chefs from every city of the NFL.  Visitors can expect to stay busy with all of the Things to Do in Fort Worth.  Grab a room at a Downtown Fort Worth Hotel and make a weekend of it!

 

Visitors and those who call Fort Worth home, can expect to see many more events for anyone and everyone at Sundance Square, the Cultural District, the National Historic Stockyards District and Texas Motor Speedway as Fort Worth is working closely with the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee.  Even if you are unable to catch the big game in person you'll find many Fort Worth Tourist Attractions.  Check out all the Western Heritage in the City of Cowboys and Culture.
