"Howdy" is a word that Cowtown takes to heart.

It’s not just a greeting, it’s also a state of mind that is centered around hospitality and sharing with every visitor “we’re happy to have you here.” Upon stepping into one of our Visitor Centers, you will sense just that - a warm Texas welcome!

The Fort Worth Visitor Centers are a helpful resource to learn more about the city and its offerings. On Wednesday, October 12, from 3-4 p.m. we invite everyone to familiarize themselves with the new Main Street Visitor Center in Sundance Square (508 Main St) from 3-4 p.m.

Attendees will enjoy Fort Worth-favorites like Steel City Pops, Red Mango juices and smoothies, and Toll House cookies. Mayor Betsy Price will address the crowd at 3:30 p.m. followed by the introduction of a new permanent exhibit and the Fort Worth Store located inside. All store items will be 20% off opening day through Saturday, October 15, and shoppers will receive a free Hear Fort Worth CD with any purchase (while supplies last).

Not able to join the fun this week? You’re invited to the Visitor Center anytime – whether you consider yourself a visitor or not. A visitor center isn’t just for those that haven’t ever been to Fort Worth, but anyone who wants to enjoy and appreciate all the unique and interesting offers that our fine city boasts.

Just because you’ve lived or frequent Fort Worth often doesn’t mean you’ve seen it all!
