THE KIMBELL ART MUSEUM PRESENTS THE FREE FILM “THE STORY OF INDIA: FREEDOM”

The Kimbell Art Museum presents the film “The Story of India: Freedom” at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, in the Museum auditorium. The film is the final program in the Kimbell’s free film series The Story of India. This film is approximately 60 minutes long.

Acclaimed writer and historian Michael Wood guides this six-part adventure, revealing the incredible richness and diversity of one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Dazzling scenes filmed across India’s vast territories––from the towering Himalayas to the palm-fringed shores of southern Kerala––invoke its dramatic past, cultural achievements, and relevance in the modern age.
