In the Culinary World Cup last month in Luxembourg, Fort Worth Club executive chef Timothy Prefontaine was part of the seven-member American Culinary Federation's Team USA that won two gold medals and placed third overall. Twenty-five national teams competed from across the globe. The Villeroy & Boch Culinary World Cup is an international culinary competition endorsed by the Association of Chefs Societies and is an alternative to the biggest culinary competition, the Kochkunst Ausstellung International Culinary Art Competition (a.k.a. the "Culinary Olympics").
