Short-track racing under the lights returns to Texas Motor Speedway this summer with the Thursday Night Summer Stampede. The 10-night racing series culminates with the Bando Nationals on August 21 as drivers from across the nation will compete for a national championship on the quarter-mile oval along the frontstretch at Texas Motor Speedway.

Drivers of all ages will compete in seven classes in one of the most recognized events for short-track drivers in the country – Bando Bandits (8-12 years old), Bando Outlaws (12 and up), Thunder Car (16 and up), Legends Young Lions (12-16), Legends Semi-Pro (16-40), Legends Masters (Over 40) and Legends Pro. Gates for the Summer Stampede open each Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. CT, with practice running from 7-7:45 p.m. Racing begins at 8:05 p.m.
