Lone Star, a collection of six different though all C&W-themed venues located under one roof (the one formerly occupied by City Streets) in Fort Worth's own Sundance Square.

Derrick is a dance club with VIP spaces and go-go dancers. Star Bar is a karaoke bar. The Alamo Bar specializes in more than 100 bottled brews from Texas and around the globe -- the mix-and-match buckets sound promising. 2 Crazy Cats is a dueling piano bar. The Straight Tequila Night bar offers myriad hand-crafted blue agave tequilas -- signature drinks include the Lone Star Lady (Cabo Wabo Blanco Tequila, Cruzan Rum with natural coconut extract, caramelized pineapple puree, and sweet and sour), the Horny Frog (a puree of various passion fruits, blood orange, and pomegranate, and El Rey hand-crafted reposado tequila), and the Texas Bulldog (Patron Cafe XO Tequila, Skyy Vodka, milk, and a splash of cola).

Lastly, there's The Stage, for live performances. (Ray Wylie Hubbard and Cory Morrow are just two marquee performers on tap.) In addition to top-shelf sound and lighting, The Stage also has two fully stocked bars and is about 10,000 square feet large. For New Year's Eve, Fri., Dec. 31, The Beatles tribute band Me & My Monkey will perform. Free entry before 8 p.m. After 8, cover is $20. After 10 p.m., it's $30.
