SPRING MARKET & MOTHER’S DAY SIP & SHOP 

If you’re still wondering what Mom would like to do for Mother’s Day - you’re in luck because you can do it all at the Spring Market. Hosted by Wandering Roots Markets at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, enjoy the beautiful scenery, sipping wine while shopping 60 local artisans vendors, crafting with the kids, and listening to live music. May 5–8

MAYFEST 2022

Just in time to celebrate its 50th year Mayfest 2022 is back and better than ever.  Spanning four days and spread over 33 acres of Trinity Park, visitors can enjoy live music, festival food, carnival rides, performing arts, pet adoptions, more than 60 market vendors, children's activities and more. With free admission on Thursday, it’s hard not to want to kick off May the Fort Worth way with Mayfest. Get more details.

 

May 7–8 

FAIRMOUNT HISTORIC DISTRICT 40TH ANNUAL TOUR OF HOMES

After a two-year hiatus, guests are invited to tour the rich architectural history of some of Fort Worth’s largest historic neighborhoods at the 40th Annual Tour of Historic Homes. For just $15, explore several beautifully restored bungalow-style homes, including one of the oldest homes in Fort Worth, the M. A. Benton House, a registered Texas historic landmark built in 1898. PBR WORLD FINALS

PBR bull riding’s most prestigious event, the PBR World Finals, has made its new move to Fort Worth, kicking off the new PBR Unleash The Beast. You’ll be able to see the best of the best take on the best of the bulls and so much more throughout Cowtown. Get the details

 

May 14

MUTTS CANINE CANTINA® FORT WORTH’S WOOFSTOCK 2022

Four-legged friends always rock, but during Woofstock, MUTTS Canine Cantina takes it to the next level with a celebration of mutts and music while supporting local breweries, bands and dog-friendly vendors. If you’re still searching for your forever friend, the Fort Worth Animal Shelter and Apollo Support & Rescue will be on-site to make sure you don’t go home alone with adoptable pets. A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM

Bring on all the summer with one of the most enchanting works of Shakespeare’s masterpieces under the roof of one of the city’s own masterpieces. Filled with fairies and frivolity in the forest, experience this classic brought to life with this brand new production choreographed by the Texas Ballet Theatre Artistic Director Ben Stevenson. NASCAR ALL-STAR RACE WEEKEND

From fast bulls to fast cars, the NASCAR All-Star Race returns to “No Limits, Texas” for a powered-packed two-event weekend. Described as “ part competition, part carnival,” don’t miss country star / TV celebrity Blake Shelton performing a one-hour concert prior to the green flag - and that’s before the races even begin. CHARLES SCHWAB CHALLENGE

This Fort Worth annual spring tradition is one of the PGA Tour's most prestigious events. The Charles Schwab Challenge is still held at its original site, the Colonial Country Club (and home to the golf legend, the late Ben Hogan.) May 26 

JOHN WAYNE DAY

Dust off your boots and your hat -  the most famous of all cowboys will be celebrated May 26 in the Stockyards for “John Wayne Day.” Commemorating The Duke’s 115th birthday, the day will be filled with activities including meet and greets with members of John Wayne’s family, tastings of coffee and spirits, a cake-cutting ceremony, armadillo races, and custom metal artist Jimmy Don from HGTV’s Fixer Upper.
