Things to do in Fort Worth with Children!  Don't miss this workshop at one of Fort Worth's Museums, The Kimbell Art Museum.

The Kimbell Art Museum presents "Maya Sea Creatures," a Children's Workshop, on Saturday, November 6, from 10 a.m. to noon. Familiar and fantastic sea creatures from the ancient Maya world will inspire aquatic-themed paintings on pounded tree-bark paper from Mexico. This program is offered in conjunction with the special exhibition, Fiery Pool: The Maya and the Mythic Sea. 
Designed for children ages 6 to 14, Children's Workshops combine interactive gallery discussions and hands-on activities for children and their parents. The materials fee for the workshop is $15 ($12 for Kimbell members). There is no charge for parents. Maximum of three children per adult. To register, call 817-332-8451, ext. 297.
