It’s Spring in Fort Worth which means it’s time to head to the banks of the Trinity for the annual Mayfest festival. This four day festival features multiple performing arts stages, an extensive kids area, an art and gift market and lots of tempting food treats.

Kids will want to check out the Frost Zone Area of the festival with it’s giant human maze, bungee jumping, petting zoo and pony rides. Texas Parks and Wildlife will also have 20 booths with educational activities all about the natural resources and outdoor activities in Texas. Look for the Tom Thumb Children’s Area for face painting, art activities and even more free activities. The Range Area of the festival features fun for the thrillseekers in the family with carnival rides and activities like bounce houses and a mechanical bull.
