In March, the Fort Worth Zoo perfectly combined art and wildlife into one, in the Museum of Living Art. This 30,000 square-foot, indoor/outdoor facility houses more than 260 amphibian and reptile species. With over 4,000 animals represented, MOLA represents the only one of its kind in the world. This exhibit is a chance to get face-to-face with exotic reptiles as well as an educational opportunity to learn about these amazing creatures. The Fort Worth Zoo remains one of the top Fort Worth Kids Events.
At the open encounter areas, discussion, questions and education are all encouraged. Your jaw might just drop at the architecture and building design alone, but step inside into a whole new world where the art is moving, literally.
For a day of family fun, this is a perfect place to take the kids and a perfect excuse to check out the world-famous Fort Worth Zoo and the new exhibit. The Zoo is unique in that each exhibit is arranged by the original location and geography of its inhabitants. You can visit the black rhinos or the beautiful giraffes in the African Savannah exhibit or the majestic Malayan tigers in the Asian exhibit. A walk around the zoo will have you visiting the animals of the world—something you and the kids will be sure to enjoy.
