TrioKAIT + Andrew Synowiec 

Grammy-winning guitarist Andrew Synowiec and fusion group trioKAIT present a mix of rock, jazz, and blues as part of a double bill of original music. Synowiec has performed with Michael Bublé, Barbara Streisand, Seal and others. Show is November 7 from 8:30-11:30 p.m. at Scat Jazz Lounge. Tickets here

 

NOVEMBER 8-10

Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Presents Barber and Copland: A Salute to America

Two iconic American composers will be featured as part of Barber and Copland: A Salute to America. Guest conductor Garrett Keast leads the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in performances of Barber’s solemn and powerful Adagio for Strings, Copland’s Third Symphony (and its grand Fanfare for the Common Man) and Barber’s popular violin concerto. Shows run November 8-10 at Bass Performance Hall

 

November 14

Party in the Plaza with Ricki Derek & Taste of Herb

Sundance Square Plaza brings great live music to the heart of Fort Worth. This month’s free concert features local crooner Ricki Derek & Taste of Herb. The Reata bar will start serving your favorite drinks at 5 p.m, and the music starts at 6 p.m. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome but, please, no outside food or drinks.

 

 

NOVEMBER 15

Fort Worth Rock Assembly 7

North Texas’ best rock tribute festival returns this month for a two-day event that features local bands covering rock ‘n’ roll greats, such as Tripping Daisy, The Toadies, OUTKAST, Old 97's and others. The concerts are held at Lola’s Trailer Park.

 

 

NOVEMBER 22-23

George Strait at Dickies Arena

Dickies Arena hosts famed American country singer-songwriter George Strait November 22nd and 23rd. Catching the “King of Country” in Fort Worth’s newest event facility will be a night to remember. 

 

 

NOVEMBER 30

Willie Green New Orleans Jazz at Twilite Lounge

New Orleans-based musician and composer Willie Green developed an interest in drums early in his childhood. His music is infused with spirituality from those early years playing gospel music in his dad’s church. Willie is the longtime drummer for Delfeayo Marsalis’ Uptown Jazz Orchestra. You can catch Green later this month at Twilite Lounge Fort Worth.
