The undisturbed prairie of Tandy Hills Park shines in the springtime with it's show of wildflowers. This is despite the urban location in a residential neighborhood next to I-30 and 5 minutes from Downtown. Several trails take you further into this undeveloped area that gives us a peek into the natural history of Fort Worth. A playground anchors the park and makes a perfect picnic spot.

Trinity Park and it's trail system provide miles and miles of scenic trails along the river for family bike rides. If you don't have a bike you can always rent a bike from the Fort Worth B-cyle bicycle sharing program.

Near Trinity Park you'll find the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. This area provides a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city with its many acres of flowers and green space that include a tranquil Japanese garden.
