Performing Arts Fort Worth invites you to “Awake to a New Season” as it proudly announces its 2010-2011 season at Bass Performance Hall.  Visit Sundace Square for fun Things to Do in Fort Worth; stay at a Downtown Fort Worth Hotel and turn a night at the theatre into a weekend of Fort Worth Tourist Attractions.

With four unique series, the 2010-2011season will offer entertainment to all audiences, from Broadway lovers to concertgoers to Fort Worth Kids Events. New season subscriptions and individual tickets for some performances will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26. Individual tickets to other performances will go on sale at a later date (see full schedule below.)

In addition to the Broadway at the Bass series, announced earlier this year, Performing Arts Fort Worth is presenting three other new series: Family Series at the Bass, Special Attractions and Popular Entertainment. These new series will feature Broadway sensations such as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and 9 to 5: The Musical; concert favorites Robert Earl Keen and Michael Martin Murphey; family shows such as Golden Dragon Acrobats and Seussical; and cultural entertainment including Tango Buenos Aires and African Children’s Choir.  Fort Worth continues to prove it's the City of Cowboys and Culture!

The Broadway at the Bass Series is accompanied by a three-show Broadway Specials add-on series, made up of Spring Awakening, Mamma Mia! and The Aluminum Show. Those who purchase season subscriptions to either the Broadway at the Bass or Family Series at the Bass can purchase tickets to the Broadway Specials – and receive discounts on those tickets – before they go on sale to the general public.

“When we started putting together this season, we truly made an effort to offer something for everyone,” says Performing Arts Fort Worth President and CEO Dione Kennedy. “We thought about those who love Broadway, those who want to bring their families and children to the Hall, those who like concerts and those who simply enjoy outstanding performance art entertainment. We think we have all our entertainment bases covered.”

As in past seasons, more performances will be added as the season goes on.
