The "City of Cowboys and Culture" brings more Kids Events to entertain the young ones!

The Kimbell Art Museum’s children’s program “Pictures and Pages” continues on Tuesday, September 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Designed for children ages four to six, this free program features a reading of the acclaimed storybook The Little Yellow Leaf, by Carin Berger, followed by an engaging docent-led tour and a related art activity. The Little Yellow Leaf was named the Best Illustrated Book of 2008 by the New York Times.

“Pictures and Pages” encourages children to use their imagination, contribute to group conversations, and participate in simple art activities. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and is designed to inspire creativity and provide children with an early exposure to works of art. The program is free, but registration is required. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited. Maximum of two children per adult. To register, please call 817-332-8451, ext. 297.
