Are you curious about nature, and want to try something different this Spring Break? Visitors to BRIT's (Botanical Research Institute of Texas) new campus in the Fort Worth Cultural District are invited to pick up a guide with a map and explore. You will travel through BRIT's building and landscape, using the skills of a scientist as you discuss and record your observations. We suggest making a day out of it and taking a hike, run or walk on the Trinity Trails! Click on the photo to the left for Children events and activities that would make your Spring Break visit worth while!

You can experience a variety of tours at BRIT: These tours mentioned below are free (Just one of many Free Things to do in Fort Worth!) Click Here for additional tour information.

Learn about BRIT's history, present and future as they talk about their research programs, herbarium, libraries, and educational programs during the Overview Tour. Find out how BRIT is green from the ground up and what exactly makes up BRIT's new home during the Sustainability Story Tour. LEED self-guided tours are available as you explore BRIT at your own pace. Connect with your prairie heritage as you develop skills scientists use when working in the field and in life during the Family Educational Tour.  Whichever tour you choose, you will be amazed at this amazing building and their sustainability research!
