Texas Culture thrives in the Cultural District of Fort Worth.  Visit Fort Worth Museums to see amazing collections as well as special exhibits.
The Day of the Dead honors the lives of those who have died through folk art, food, and festivals.  A traditional ofrenda (commemorative altar) will be on display in the Museum lobby adjacent to the Modern Shop.  The altar will be decorated with offerings for the returning souls of loved ones, memorabilia and belongings.  Visitors will enjoy pan de los muertos (bread of the dead and traditional zempasuchitl (marigold garlands while they shop for decorations, gifts, and jewelry inspired by the day of remembrance.
