Are the kids feeling a little stir crazy this summer? Beat the heat, and take them to The 2011 Modern Kids - Summer Flicks Series presented by The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Lone Star Film Society! Visit the galleries before (or after) the screenings and combine the art of film with the art of sculptures, installations and videos found in the permanent collection.
Admission is free and open to the public and you can catch the films in the Museum's auditorium. Gallery admission is free for film attendees and the adult chaperon on the day of the film. Seating is limited, and on a first-come, first-serve basis of the first 250 guests. For the full list of movies with age recommendations, Click Here. Childhood favorite and adventure tale, Where the Wild Things Are (ages 3-7; 6 min.) will be shown Thursday, August 18, from 10:30-11:00 a.m.
