The weather may be changing ever so slightly, but it’s still prime outdoor concert time here in Fort Worth. So, grab your suits and enjoy a “"splashing" good time at one of the many events scheduled for the month of September.
Panther Island Pavilion, the only waterfront stage in Texas, amps up the fun with a series of must-see concerts including the 6th Annual Concert Dia De Los Toadies and the Beer, Bourbon and Brisket Festival. Kicking off the festivities on September 13-14 is Fort Worth natives the Toadies, who will perform all-time favorites Possum Kingdom, Tyler, Doll Skin and more during their annual concert quoted by the Austin Chronicle as “Willie’s picnic for a new generation.” This exciting show will feature music selected by each band member, including quiet acoustic, country-ish/honky-tonk and lots of Texas rock n’ roll! Tickets can be purchased through the Di De Los Toadies website and are $30 for single day passes, $60 for weekend passes. Additional VIP options are available.
Another exciting event including live music is Beer, Bourbon and Brisket – everything a country gal loves rolled into one – which will kick off on Saturday, September 28, at 5 p.m. This shindig of a good time will pay respects to the BBQ-ing ways of Texas and the developing craft beer and spirits scene here in the Lone Star State. Not to mention it is kid friendly and will have plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Bands set to perform are Somebody's Darling, The Whiskey Folk and Jace Everett.
Don’t miss out on the fun! Join us as we tube along to our favorite bands, most likely with brisket in hand.
