Hispanic Heritage Month - Kimbell Art Museum
Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated September 15 - October 15, and the Kimbell Art Museum is celebrating for four weeks with a variety of programs (both onsite and virtual) and events designed to create awareness and appreciate the cultural heritage of Latin American- and Spanish-speaking communities. From drop-in art-making activities and films to Facebook Live dual-language storytimes, there are multiple ways to participate throughout October.
¡Celebramos! A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage - Fort Worth Botanic Gardens
The Fort Worth Botanic Gardens is making the most of Hispanic Heritage Month by celebrating for eight weeks with ¡Celebramos! A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage. Patrons can enjoy performances, exhibitions, dining, shopping, movies and ending the presentation with Day of the Dead commemorations.

Frida Fest & Frida Kahlo & the Bravest Girl in the World
It’s the perfect combination of colors in one setting when the Fort Worth Opera presents the children's opera based on the award-winning book, "Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Girl in the World" on October 9 - 10 at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. Guests are also invited to don their best Frida look on Saturday to set a record for the largest gathering of Fridas in one place.
Gold Over America Tour
Dickies Arena will shine bright when THE Simone Biles and a team of award-winning gymnasts take the stage for almost two hours for the Gold Over America Tour presented by Athleta. The spectacular spotlights each gymnast performing from some of their most famous routines, career highlight and personal videos, social media interactions, spoken word and much more.
Clearfork Farmers Market
It’s harvest season. Now's the time to enjoy a stroll through the Clearfork Farmers Market while enjoying treats and eats in the near fall weather. The market features over 25 local farmers, ranchers and artisan vendors every Saturday year-round.
Water Lantern Festival
The Water Lantern Festival lights up the night at Panther Island on October 16 with a magical experience featuring food, music, beauty and memories as each lantern takes to the water. Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show
Named the number one air show by USA TODAY 2020 10Best Readers, the 31st Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show is continuing to give everyone a chance to watch the U.S. Navy Blue Angels via a hybrid air show where you can drive-in or park, picnic and play.
