If you are a Titanic aficionado (nerd) like I am, then do I have a treat for you!

I would like to mention that my fascination with the largest and most luxurious liner ever built started long before Leo and Kate hit the big screen, but that is neither here nor there. I am excited that Leo and Kate will be back at movie theaters in 3D as this April marks the 100th Anniversary since the fateful journey, but what I’m really excited for is Titanica that will show at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History’s Omni IMAX Theater beginning April 15, 2012. Anyone can watch Leo and Kate, but only in the City of Cowboys and Culture can you experience an actual expedition down to the wreckage. If you have ever seen an IMAX film, you know that it surrounds you like a dome, and this will allow audiences to see the ghostly wreck in extraordinary detail. The Omni Theater’s offering of the film, is in advance celebration of the Museum of Science and History’s presentation of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, opening October 13, 2012. Titanica will show through the summer, but tickets are available now!
