Whether, you're a runner, cyclist, or just want to enjoy some fresh air, head out to the Trinity Trails! With over 40 miles of paths along the beautiful Trinity River, it's the perfect place to walk, run, bike or horseback! The trail networks connects 21 parks, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and Japanese Garden, Log Cabin Village, Fort Worth Zoo, the historic Stockyards and downtown Fort Worth.
Living in Uptown Fort Worth provides great accessibility to the trails, so I made it one of my new year's resolutions to get outside and start running. This Monday was a clear and sunny day in Fort Worth, so it was the perfect day to complete my first 2 mile-run. From Uptown, through downtown-next to the Trinity College Campus and past Heritage Park, I ended up on the Trinity Trails. The gorgeous day and natural scenery of the trails and river were so inviting, that I just kept on running! On Monday, I completed three miles, with no problem and mostly because being outside just makes you feel better. So whether, you like to run, bike or walk, get outside and enjoy the trails because Fort Worth is lucky to have them! Click Here for a map to find the nearest trail entrance to you!
