If you haven’t made it to the West 7th Street District of Fort Worth retail, office and shopping, you need to check it out. Located on Fort Worth's near west side, the complex is full of tasty and elegant dining, the exquisite three-story Movie Tavern and Fort Worth shopping—all of which add a completely new cultural element to Fort Worth the City of Cowboys and Culture. The area is perfect for a summer night’s stroll or a lunch break away from the office.

Surprisingly though, this area is still growing. Last Thursday, developers announced that they would be adding on additional retail and residential space to complete the 13-acre project. More apartments will be developed by Cypress Equities. Their current project is the five-story, 125,000-square-foot building on the lot east of the Modern Art Museum. You will find 25,000 square feet for shops and restaurants and the top floors will hold 96 loft apartments, averaging 922 square feet. These apartments will be known as the Lofts at West 7th.  Of course, the new West 7th complex is just proof that our city is growing faster than ever, and in a positive way too.
