Hi, I’m Bob Jameson, here with 3 Things for January.

1. The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo returns to Dickies Arena January 12th through February 3rd. This rodeo extravaganza is rich in Western heritage and tradition, and Dickies Arena was ranked the Number One venue in the world by Billboard Magazine. This year’s event will be packed with rodeo action, livestock and horse shows, interactive and kid-friendly activities, fun Western shopping, an All Western Parade in downtown Fort Worth, “Moo-seum Experience” presented by Central Market, live music, a carnival, great food and more. Don’t miss the excitement, tradition and spirit of this signature Fort Worth event!

2. On January 15th, we’ll honor Martin Luther King Jr. with Fort Worth’s annual MLK Jr. Day Parade and Rally, celebrating the living hope of Dr. King’s Dream. Visit Fort Worth will also participate in this year’s Black Travel and Tourism Week, where we’ll amplify local Black-owned businesses and professionals in travel, tourism and hospitality.

3. And finally, two beautiful new hotels now grace the “bricks” of Camp Bowie. The Crescent and Bowie House will provide our exciting Cultural District with more rooms, restaurants and venues for visitors.

We look forward to an exciting 2024!
